AWARD-WINNING CHEF ROBERTA ADAMO TEACHES FOOD LOVERS AND ASPIRING CHEFS HOW TO “SHOP, COOK AND DINE” WITH CLASS
Philadelphia, PA – October 10, 2007 – While you don’t have to graduate culinary school to cook a meal – taking a class from such an award-winning chef as Roberta Adamo can help you turn a home-spun dish into a gourmet Italian feast for family and friends.
In November Chef Adamo again will be hosting her celebrated “Shop, Cook and Dine’ class for Italian food lovers and aspiring chefs. As chef at Penne Restaurant & Wine Bar, and the recipient of numerous culinary honors, including PHILLY COOKS™ “2006 Dish of the Year” for the sumptuous main entrée Pan Roasted Pork Tenderloin Agro Dolce, Adamo will serve up expert tips and advice– from selecting the finest ingredients to choosing an exquisite wine to accompany your meal.
There is no better way to spend a Wednesday afternoon than to enjoy a culinary experience presented by one of Philadelphia’s most dynamic chefs. Chef Adamo’s “Shop, Cook and Dine” class starts with an informative trip to the local Farmer’s Market, where she will show you how to select the finest ingredients. When shopping is completed, the class returns to Chef Adamo’s well-known pasta lab, where she will provide step-by-step instruction for preparing your meal. The afternoon class concludes with engaging one-on-one conversation, a glass of fine wine and luncheon service.
“Shop, Cook, and Dine” class will be held Wednesday, November 14th from 10:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Penne Restaurant & Wine Bar, neatly situated at the Inn at Penn, 3600 Sansom Street, Philadelphia. Cost for the class is $30.00 per person. Space is limited. Reservations are suggested. To make a class reservation, please call 215.823.6222.
